The present invention proposes a method for estimating the common authorship of a set of images of static signatures hesitant. The procedure consists of generating multiple duplicates of each of the signatures by means of distortions inspired by neurocognitive processes of human writing in order to create a model for each firm that is in doubt. After evaluating the similarity of each signature with each model, a matrix of similarity measures is generated, comparing each signature with the models. The cohesion of the matrix of measures of similarity will allow to estimate if all the signatures belong to the individual whose identity is claimed or if they were produced by more than one writer.
